By Kendal Brown

I went fishing today for about 3 hours at the pier along from living coast. was a amazing time no rain not much wind and good fish caught of feathers bobbing up and down. i caught a 3lbs pollock and my friend caught 2 2pound pollock. just as we were leaving as it was dark i caught a big rockling on feathers with a little bit of a fish eye as bate bit random but it worked. we also got quite a few little pollock a ballen wrasse blemmie and a another little fish with 2 stripes down it not sure what it is though. Over all a very good day.

GENERAL ROUNDUP
By Simon Day

The bigger mackerel have arrived and they have been caught upto nearly 3lb. Best places are Brixham breakwater, Babbacombe pier and Hopes nose.

A few flatties are also arriving so again Hopes Nose and surrounding areas are the best spots at the moment.

BABBACOMBE PIER
By David Allen

Went fishing at Babbacombe for the first time in ages, got to the pier at about 11.30am. To my surprise there were only three other's fishing with nothing much to report, except the odd Garfish. Set up my float Murphy's law applied second cast my first mackerel. Only stayed a few hours (had to keep wife and kids happy) ended up with three mackerel and two garfish. Having only recently moved down to Torquay (from Croydon) and started sea fishing for the first time, it reinforces what a great way to unwind and relax. Great site good info on what type of bait and how to use it.
