I have just started fishing today and although I did not catch anything I found it quite relaxing and enjoyable.
I found your website very useful indeed, particularly the beginners section. I used it to kit myself out. I aquired all the tackle/gear that your website advised and found that I really did need all of it ! But thankfully not the first aid Kit! The float stop idea, using the electrical tubing is a marvellous idea. Also I got Talking To Other people who showed me how to do the basic of things (like Casting off).
I will now try and go fishing as often as I can or if wife permits !! Thanks for compiling a great and informative website.
